And the point that she's made—she's even more motivated, more hungry—just knowing that her time is going to come."

The argument for including Clark is that—alongside being one of the most talented young stars in basketball—she's brought a whole new level of excitement and attention to the women's game, and her inclusion on Team USA would have only added to that surging wave of popularity.
