Atlanta Falcons second-year running back Bijan Robinson was already going to be one of the top targets for fantasy football managers this year, but a recent comment from new head coach Raheem Morris will be music to their ears.

Per ESPN's Marc Raimondi, Morris said Tuesday that it's safe to expect a heavy dosage of Robinson this season, as he will be the focal point of the Falcons offense:

The No. 8 pick in the 2023 NFL draft, Robinson appeared in all 17 games last year and recorded 214 carries for 976 yards and four touchdowns while adding 58 receptions for 487 yards and four more scores.

Despite the solid numbers, fans believed Robinson could've done even more if former head coach Arthur Smith truly unleashed him. It sounds like he will get that chance with Morris calling the shots.

Robinson will also benefit from the presence of veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, who signed with the Falcons this offseason after starring for the Minnesota Vikings for the past six seasons. Atlanta's offense is expected to make a leap with the four-time Pro Bowler under center this year.

It's safe to say that Robinson should be targeted early in the first round of fantasy football drafts in 2024.
