Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce won the home run derby during Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku's Celebrity Softball Game charity event on Saturday.
Per Camryn Justice of ABC News 5 Cleveland, ex-Browns running back Kareem Hunt held the lead with 10 homers before Kelce strolled up to the dish. Kelce edged him by one to win the crown.
The athletes and celebrities in attendance then broke into two teams, one led by Njoku and the other guided by Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett.
Kelce ended up on Garrett's team, which won the game 20-5.
Kelce hails from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, only 14 miles from the event's location at Eastlake's Classic Auto Group Park. That field serves as the home of the Cleveland Guardians' High-A affiliate Lake County Captains.
He's also close with Njoku, who had very kind words to say.
"That's my guy, man," Njoku said, per the Associated Press. "He's one of the purest human beings I've met in my life honestly. Always means well. Just great overall dude."
Per Justice, proceeds of the event's ticket sales will be directed to local charities, specifically those serving local youth.
