Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon got a new tattoo honoring his late brother, Drew Gordon.
Aaron showed off the fresh ink in a post on Instagram, along with the caption: "Big bruh lives thru me" and a heart emoji.
Drew Gordon died on May 30 in a vehicle accident in Portland, Oregon. He was 33 years old.
Per a report from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Gordon was driving a three-wheel autocycle that crossed over the center line on a two-lane road and collided with a pickup truck.
Gordon was a standout college player for two seasons at New Mexico from 2010 to 2012. He was named to the All-Mountain West Conference team in both years, including a first-team selection in 2011-12.
After going undrafted in 2012, Gordon spent time in various leagues around the world. He appeared in nine games with the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2014-15 season.
Gordon retired from professional basketball in July 2023.
Aaron Gordon just wrapped up his 10th season in the NBA. The Nuggets' season ended on May 19 with a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals.
The 28-year-old won his first NBA title with the Nuggets last season.
