Video: Anthony Edwards Says Wolves Will 'Put on a Show Next Year' After Playoff Loss
The Minnesota Timberwolves lost in five games to the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, coming up just short of the NBA Finals.
But Anthony Edwards isn't deterred, and had a message for Minnesota and the team's fans on Tuesday.
"We appreciate y'all for supporting us," he said in a video posted to his social media.
"We'll be back next year. So just keep pulling up, we'll put on a show next year."
Edwards, 22, is one of the NBA's brightest young stars and hasn't even hit his prime years yet. He has improved in each of his first four NBA seasons and averaged 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists this past season.
The Timberwolves are now his team, and the future is bright. Minnesota has plenty to be excited about going forward.
