Video: Eagles' Nick Sirianni Says He Trolls Giants Fans About Saquon Barkley Contract
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni says the perfect comeback to being taunted by New York Giants fans is reminding them where running back Saquon Barkley is spending the 2024 season.
"Sometimes you see Giants fans around here, you know, being so close, and they give me a good, 'Hey, go Giants,'" Sirianni said (h/t NBC Sports Philadelphia.) "And I typically let it go, but if the guy gets me good enough, I usually say, 'You know, we got your best player.'"

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
The Eagles and Barkley reached an agreement on a three-year, $37.75 million contract in March.
Barkley has played all six seasons of his NFL career with the Giants, where he was named to two Pro Bowls while amassing 5,211 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns.
Letting Barkley walk gave the Giants more room to maneuver under the salary cap, which was a necessity for a team in need of core pieces as they look to rebuild from a disappointing 6-11 campaign in 2023.
Meanwhile, Barkley is now surrounded by a star-studded offensive line and skill-position corps. He'll round out an Eagles offense that should be among the NFL's best in 2024.
