MLB 2024 MVP Odds: Yankees' Aaron Judge, Dodgers' Mookie Betts Favorites for Awards

Two offensive leaders for first-place teams in major markets are pacing the Major League Baseball MVP odds as the 2024 season continues.

As of Monday at 5 p.m. ET, DraftKings Sportsbook lists New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge as the American League MVP favorite at +200 (bet $100 to win $200) and Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts as the favorite in the National League at +110.

Judge is atop the American League list after an incredible month of May.

He won the AL Player of the Month while slashing .361/.479/.918 with 14 home runs and 27 RBI while keeping his Yankees in first place in the American League East. They are 42-19 and three games ahead of the Baltimore Orioles.

Betts' Dodgers are in first place in the National League West at 38-23 and 6.5 games clear of the San Diego Padres.

He has been excellent with a .318/.412/.515 slash line, nine home runs, 32 RBI and nine stolen bases. He sets the table for a loaded lineup that also includes Ohtani and Freddie Freeman and seems well on his way to the MVP.

It would be the second MVP for both Betts and Judge if they parlay their early lead into the award at the end of the season.
