The NBA announced Friday that Minnesota Timberwolves superstar guard Anthony Edwards won three of the six NBA Fan Favorites awards voted on by the fans.

Edwards won Dunk of the Year, Block of the Year and Photo of the Year, Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving won Handle of the Year, Chicago Bulls wing DeMar DeRozan won Assist of the Year and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won Style of the Year:

The NBA posted videos and photos of each of the award-winning plays and moments on X, and they served to put the spotlight on Edwards' spectacular year:

This is the third season that Fan Favorites awards have been determined, as they made their debut at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.

Edwards' Dunk of the Year-winning jam was arguably the most memorable play of the entire NBA season, as he soared over Utah Jazz forward John Collins and essentially threw the ball into the net.

That play resulted in Edwards winning a pair of awards, as his dunk over Collins was also voted Photo of the Year.

If that wasn't enough, Ant-Man also captured Block of the Year honors for a rejection against the Indiana Pacers that saw him jump so high that he hit his head on the rim.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, Edwards has improved by leaps and bounds in each of his four seasons in the league.

Edwards has been named an All-Star in each of the past two campaigns, and he finished seventh in the NBA MVP voting this season by virtue of averaging 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 2.4 three-pointers made and 1.3 steals per game.

Additionally, Edwards has guided the T-Wolves all the way to the Western Conference Finals where they currently trail the Mavs 1-0.

Irving has played a significant role in the Mavericks' spectacular season, and since he has long been considered one of the best dribblers in the league, it comes as little surprise that he won Handle of the Year.

In a game against the Houston Rockets, Kyrie went to work with the ball in his hands, crossing over wing Dillon Brooks and spinning his way to the basket for a bucket.

DeRozan isn't often mentioned as one of the NBA's top passers, but he is underrated in that regard and averaged a solid 5.1 assists per game this season.

None was better than his pass against the Milwaukee Bucks, which saw him drive to the lane, spin and dish to guard Coby White, who knocked down a three-pointer.

Gilgeous-Alexander looked great on the court all season, averaging 30.1 points, 6.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game en route to a second-place finish in the MVP voting.

His fashion sense helped him look equally good off the court, though, and his unique fit resulted in SGA winning Style of the Year.
