Eddie Goldman: 2012 Under Armour All-America Game Is Goldman's to Shine in

Eddie Goldman will put on a show for the dozens of universities that are begging and pleading like an overzealous girlfriend for the young man to just commit already. 

The 2012 Under Armour All-America Game is Thursday night and dozens of high school standouts are about to play in the first of many high-profile games. Hundreds of eyes will scrutinize every last down and every single movement. 

It's a necessity that might be a tad unfair, considering the age of these young men and the pressure they no doubt feel as their futures are on the line. 

With that being said, some have nothing to worry about. You can add Eddie Goldman to that list. While many of the amateur athletes have made their intentions known, Goldman has sat back and waited to see how the field pans out. 

This is one of the last times that he will have all the power, so I applaud his measured approach to a life-changing decision. 

The Friendship Collegiate Academy defensive tackle will be playing for the Black Team in the All-America game. He is widely considered a top prospect and is coveted by schools such as Alabama, Auburn,Clemson and pretty much every other school he could want.

There is no ceiling to how high this 5-star recruit can go. He already has a huge frame at 6'4" and over 300 pounds. This is a name that you need to remember. 

That is exactly what this game has come to mean. Recruits are on audition for schools across the nation. A handful are already set as potential stars. The real joy is watching them and saying, down the line, that you remember when you first saw them years ago. 

Goldman has the power, speed and agility to be one of those players. He will prove that tonight in the first of many marquee games for him.
