Fantasy Alert: Jets' Malachi Corley 'Ready to Punish,' Says 'I'm Hell to Bring Down'
New York Jets rookie wide receiver Malachi Corley could be an interesting target for fantasy football managers this year, as he's bringing an attitude to an offense that struggled mightily in 2023.
Corley told ESPN's Rich Cimini that he's "ready to punish somebody" each time he touches the ball. The 2024 third-round pick is expected to be a major addition to a Jets offense that produced just 18 touchdowns last season.
"I'm hell to bring down," Corley said. "The Lord has blessed me with some talents and some abilities and confidence that's out of this world."

The former Western Kentucky standout was dubbed the "YAC King" after leading FBS with 2,070 total yards after the catch from 2021-23. He also forced 77 missed tackles during that span.
Corley was best known for his prowess on screen passes and gadget plays, as he could turn any short catch into a big gain. Many compared him to San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel due to his versatility.
Corley is joining a revamped Jets offense that should benefit from the return of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who missed virtually all of last season due to a torn Achilles. In addition to retooling the offensive line, New York added veteran receiver Mike Williams to play alongside rising star Garrett Wilson. With Corley in the mix, the Jets have a dangerous trio that could produce some fireworks in 2024.
