With the 2024 WNBA season just beginning, A'ja Wilson and the rest of the Las Vegas Aces' roster were given a large sponsorship deal from the city.

On Friday, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority CEO Steve Hill informed the Aces that each player would receive a $100,000 sponsorship.

"The offer is really simple," Hill said. "We want you to just play, we want you to keep repping Las Vegas. And if you get a three-peat, that'll be icing on the cake."

The Aces are coming off two consecutive championship victories in 2022 and 2023. They were nearly unstoppable during the latter title run, finishing the regular season with a 34-6 record before going 8-1 in the playoffs.

Wilson has been the driving force behind Las Vegas' success, as the two-time MVP has routinely stepped up in big moments. In 2023, she averaged 22.8 points and 9.5 rebounds to go along with a career-high 2.2 blocks per game while shooting 55.7 percent from the field.

The Aces have brought more attention to the city with their recent success, as the team's championship-clinching victory over the New York Liberty in 2023 represented the most-watched WNBA Finals Game 4 of all time (via Front Office Sports).

Las Vegas' title defense has already gotten off to a strong start, opening the 2024 season with an impressive 89-80 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday. Wilson finished with a double-double in the win, scoring 30 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in 34 minutes on the floor.
