Video: Scottie Scheffler Holes Out for Eagle on 1st Hole at 2024 PGA Championship
Scottie Scheffler made a grand entrance at the PGA Championship Thursday by holing out from 167 yards for an eagle on the par-four first at Louisville, Kentucky's Valhalla Golf Club.
Scheffler hit a picturesque 324-yard drive down the fairway to begin the 487-yard opener before sticking his next shot to start his tournament at two under.

Scheffler is playing in his first tournament since becoming a father after he and his wife, Meredith, welcomed their son Bennett.
Scheffler has won four of his last five tournaments, including the Masters.
The lone exception was a second-place finish by just one stroke at the Texas Children's Houston Open to Stephan Jaeger. Nine of his 10 tournaments in the 2024 calendar year have resulted in top-10 finishes.
Needless to say, Scheffler has been on fire, and he started that way Thursday en route to searching for his third career major win.
