Photos: Chargers Compare 2024 Opponents to Pop-Tarts Ahead of NFL Schedule Release

Ahead of the real Super Bowl for the Los Angeles Chargers' social-media team that is the official schedule release, they had some fun with their 2024 schedule with the help of Pop-Tarts.

The Chargers posted a series of pictures on X comparing their opponents for the upcoming season to various flavors and images of the iconic toaster pastries.

Their first image is cheeky because it features Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray pictured alongside the bite-sized style of Pop-Tarts.

Other notable images include Lamar Jackson with a popular Baltimore crustacean; Joe Burrow and Cincinnati's favorite treat; Patrick Mahomes with a Pop-Tart and different types of ketchup; and Patrick Surtain II of the Denver Broncos next to Wal-Mart-brand Pop-Tarts.

The history of the Chargers isn't one rich with tradition and success, but they have an easy claim to be the best social media team in the NFL. No team has done a better job of with the schedule-release video in recent years.

Their 2022 video was done in the style of an anime and was nominated for a WEBBY award. They brought the anime back last year, and it was a work as impressive as almost any full-length animated feature released in 2023.

All eyes are going to be on the Chargers once again for the release of the 2024 schedule video on Thursday night. They have a lot to live up to from the past few years, but if the indications from the Pop-Tarts thread are any indication, they are going to crush it.
