NFL Rumors: Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs vs. Allen, Bills Set for Week 11 on 2024 Schedule

The biggest cross-division rivalry in the AFC is set to continue in 2024.

Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 11 of the upcoming campaign.

The Chiefs and Bills have faced each other in the regular season in each of the last four years with Buffalo winning three of those matchups. However, Kansas City has emerged victorious in all three playoff games between the two teams during that period, including a 27-24 win in the AFC Divisional Round this past season when Bills kicker Tyler Bass missed a potential game-tying field goal wide right with under two minutes remaining in the game.

The two teams also played a tightly-contested game in the regular season that ended in a 20-17 Bills win. Mahomes appeared to throw a late go-ahead touchdown, but the play was negated by an offsides penalty by wide receiver Kadarius Toney. Mahomes was visibly upset when he met Allen for the post-game handshake, and he later apologized for how he handled himself after the loss.

The Chiefs and Bills are expected to be among the top contenders in the AFC once again. Both teams are favored to win their respective divisions in the latest odds released by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Kansas City is chasing a third straight Super Bowl title, so Buffalo will be motivated to knock off the defending champs when they meet in the 2024 season.
