Wolves HC Jokes About Wanting 'Itemized Receipt' amid Rudy Gobert, Jamal Murray Fines
Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch joked that he wanted to see the itemized receipts for NBA fines after T-Wolves center Rudy Gobert got a $75,000 charge for his money gesture towards officials in comparison to Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray getting a $100,000 fine for throwing a towel and a heating pad earlier in their Western Conference semifinals bout.
Gobert did the money gesture late in the Nuggets' 115-107 win over Minnesota in Game 4 on Sunday after being called for a loose ball foul. He was notably fined $100,000 for making the same gesture two months ago.
Murray threw the items in the direction of crew chief Marc Davis during live action in Game 2, which the T-Wolves won 106-80.
This has certainly been an intense series to say the least, as evidenced by these moments and fines. Game 5 will go down in Denver on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. ET.
