Tom Brady Says He 'Didn't Like' How Some Netflix Roast Jokes Impacted His Children

Tom Brady may have a few regrets about agreeing to be roasted in his Netflix special. Namely, how it affected a few of the people in his life.

"I loved when the jokes were about me," he said on The Pivot Podcast (50:15 mark). "I thought they were so fun. I didn't like the way it affected my kids. So it's the hardest part, the bittersweet aspect of when you do something you think is one way then all of the sudden you realize, I wouldn't do that again because of the way it affected the people I care about the most in the world."

Gisele Bündchen, Brady's ex-wife, reportedly was "deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's roast show," a source told People's Charna Flam and Charlotte Triggs.

That source added that, "As always, [Bündchen's] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted."

Brady reportedly apologized for the jokes sent in Bündchen and jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente's direction during the roast, per Sara Donnellan of Us Weekly.

Bündchen and Valente are currently a couple, and many of the jokes during the roast implied that the pair began having an affair while Brady was still in the picture.
