Video: Tyson Fury's Dad Discusses Headbutting Oleksandr Usyk's Crew Member
Tyson Fury's father John Fury is remaining tight-lipped about the head-butting incident that occurred during Monday's media event promoting his son's undisputed heavyweight championship bout with Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.
When asked about the incident by DAZN Boxing, the elder Fury said, "I can't talk you through it because I don't know what happened. Things happen on the spur of the moment, don't they? Both teams are edgy... But there's one thing with me, you can't get your problem with me."
An altercation occurred in which Fury had to be separated from a member of Usyk's team before he then turned his attention to another Usyk supporter and rammed his head into him. Fury sustained a wound on his forehead and had blood dripping down his face when security intervened.
Tyson Fury wasn't in the vicinity when the ruckus went down, and when he saw his father he asked him, "How did you cut yourself like that?"
John Fury apologized for his actions on Monday. However, when asked by DAZN if he regrets the moment or if it's something he'd do again, he responded, "No comment," with a chuckle.
