Position: PF/C

Height: 7'1"

Pro Comparison: Jaren Jackson Jr.

Scouting Report: It's difficult to picture an NBA world where Sarr isn't regularly adding value with his athleticism around the basket and defensive versatility. But it's the flashes of open-floor ball-handling, pull-up jumpers and spot-up threes creates No. 1 overall upside.

Wizards Active Roster and 2024-25 Salary (Expiration Year)

Jordan Poole, SG: $29.7M (2027)

Kyle Kuzma, PF: $23.5M (2027)

Deni Avdija, SF: $15.6M (2028)

Marvin Bagley Jr., PF: $12.5M (2025)

Landry Shamet, SG: $11M (2025)

Monte Morris, PG: $9.8M (2024)

Delon Wright, PG: $8.2M (2024)

Bilal Coulibaly, SF: $6.9M (2025)

Corey Kispert, SF: $5.7M (2025)

Johnny Davis, SG: $5.3M (2026)

Patrick Baldwin Jr., SF: $2.4M (2026)

Jared Butler, PG: $2.2M (2026)

Eugene Omoruyi, SF: $2.2M (2025)

Justin Champagnie, SF: Two-way (2025)

Richaun Holmes, C: Player option

Tristan Vukcevic, C: Club option

Tyus Jones, PG: UFA

Anthony Gill, PF: UFA

In a draft without a consensus No. 1 player, Sarr's combination of size and athleticism made him one of the most intriguing prospects available.

The 19-year-old spent two years in the United States working with Overtime Elite from 2021 to '23. He turned pro last season after signing with the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League in Australia.

Sarr made his first experience against professional competition count. He averaged 20.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per 36 minutes in 24 games for the Wildcats.

While there will be an initial learning period as he gets acclimated to playing against NBA competition, Sarr has the type of body and skill set to become a star in the league for a long time.
