This isn't the first time the northern lights have appeared above an iconic stadium recently, as they were spotted over Boston's Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox.
The northern lights, which is another name for aurora borealis, are defined by the Library of Congress as "shafts or curtains of colored light visible on occasion in the night sky."
The northern lights are a sight to behold anywhere:
Seeing them in the backdrop of iconic sports stadiums within days of each other is something else, too.
Perhaps it's a good omen for the Packers, who are riding the high of a great season last year under first-year starting quarterback Jordan Love. Green Bay upset the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Round before just falling short to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.
Next year brings great promise for an up-and-coming Packers team looking for even greater success under Love, who looks to be the long-term answer at quarterback following the end of the Aaron Rodgers era.
