Gardner-Johnson is set to begin his second tenure with the Eagles after signing a three-year, $33 million deal with the team this offseason. He played the 2022 season in Philadelphia, registering 67 tackles and snagging a league-leading six interceptions as he helped lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl appearance.
He departed for the Lions in the offseason but was limited to just three regular season games due to a torn pectoral. He recorded 17 tackles and an interception during those games, and recorded 12 tackles and an interception in three playoff games after returning from the injury.
He will hope to stabilize the Eagles secondary in his return, as well as putting together a healthy season for the first time since his rookie season.
