Stoltman carried a three-point lead into Saturday and extended his advantage, finishing third in the Conan's Wheel (777 degrees, eight points), tied for second in the Terrain Deadlift (8.5 points reps) and first in the Atlas Stones (five stones in 38.14 seconds, 10 points).

He has now finished either first or second in the past five World's Strongest Man competitions.

Hooper, who won last year's competition and has also won the last two Arnold Strongman Classics, actually gained ground on Stoltman during the Conan's Wheel, putting up the second-best performance (821 degrees) for nine points.

But he lost ground on the Terrain Deadlift (six reps, six points) and Atlas Stones (four stones in 37.35 seconds, nine points), conceding his title in the process.

Singleton just barely finished above Ragg for third place after failing to score more than five points in any of the three events on Sunday.

His Canadian counterpart had a fantastic day, meanwhile, with the best score on the Terrain Deadlift (eight reps) and solid performances in the Conan's Wheel (748 degrees, seven points) and Atlas Stones (four stones in 49.43 seconds, six points).
