Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Adidas have unveiled the new Mahomes 2 colorway, entitled "Off Script" in honor of the three-time Super Bowl winner's uncanny ability to successfully improvise on the fly.

Mahomes 2 launched in February, two-and-a-half years after the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX debuted.

Per Adidas, the Mahomes 2 "features a generative traction outsole, enhanced mesh upper, and repetitor foam midsole."

Mahomes just led the Chiefs to their third Super Bowl win in five seasons, winning Super Bowl MVP honors for the third time as well.
