Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Williams was taken No. 1 overall by the Bears in last week's NFL draft. Moore is coming off a sensational first year in Chicago that saw him set career highs in receptions (96), receiving yards (1,364) and touchdowns (8).
The Bears focused on giving Williams one of the league's most versatile receiving corps this offseason. They traded for Pro Bowler Keenan Allen and used the No. 9 pick in the draft to land Rome Odunze.
Allen will likely only be in Chicago for one season, but he's one of the sport's best route-runners and a sure-handed target for Williams on intermediate routes while Odunze develops.
Moore, who was acquired in the trade with the Carolina Panthers that eventually sent Williams to Chicago, should remain as the team's WR1. The 27-year-old has four 1,000-yard campaigns in six NFL seasons despite consistently poor quarterback play.
There is a strong chance Williams will be the best quarterback Moore has played with from the moment he sets foot on the field.
Williams already worked out with Moore, Allen and Odunze before the 2024 draft, so it's clear he wasn't wasting any time—even when it wasn't a lock he'd be his teammate.
Now that he's back in action with Moore already, there's plenty of reason for optimism in Chicago.
