Cardinals' Kyler Murray Says 'Vibes Are Immaculate' amid WR Rumors Ahead of NFL Draft

Tyler ConwayApr 25, 2024

Kyler Murray is likely going to land his next WR1 in a few hours, and he clearly cannot wait.

The Arizona Cardinals quarterback took to social media Thursday and said vibes were "immaculate" ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.

Murray also said on Thursday that he knows who he wants the team to draft while adding he has "full faith" in the organization:

Arizona has widely been linked to Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in the predraft process. Matt Miller of ESPN reported Harrison has been given "assurance" he will be the pick at No. 4 if he's available.

Cardinals fans have overwhelmingly clamored for Harrison to be the selection.

"Our fans are very important to us," general manager Monti Ossenfort told reporters. "What I can promise and what I'll always promise is we will do what's best for the team. What's best for the team this year and also long-term. Everybody has got an opinion. Everybody has favorites. That goes with the territory."

Arizona has been seen as a team that could potentially trade back if the right offer comes along as well. Teams targeting quarterback Michigan J.J. McCarthy might hand Ossenfort a Godfather offer to move up to No. 4, putting him in a similar position to a year ago.

At that time, Ossenfort agreed to move back from No. 3 to No. 12 before moving back up in the draft to No. 6 and selecting tackle Paris Johnson Jr.

A similarly complicated move would likely net Murray a WR1 in this year's draft—even if it's not necessarily Harrison. LSU's Malik Nabers and Washington's Rome Odunze are seen as bonafide WR1 prospects in this class as well and could be available later in the top 10.
