Triple H on London Mayor's Pledge to Pursue Hosting WWE WrestleMania: 'Let's Talk'

WWE Hall of Famer and chief content officer Triple H indicated Thursday that WWE could be open to bringing WrestleMania to London in the future.

In a post Thursday on X, London mayor Sadiq Khan expressed his desire to bring multiple massive sporting events to London, including WrestleMania:

Triple H responded to the tweet with a suggestion that he is open to having conversations about making it happen:

The 40th edition of WrestleMania took place earlier this month in Philadelphia, further cementing it as the biggest spectacle in pro wrestling and sports entertainment.

While WWE has gone far and wide to put on WrestleMania over the past four decades, it has never been held outside of North America, and it only occurred outside the United States twice with both times being in Toronto.

European fans have long begged for WWE to consider a WrestleMania overseas, and while it would require the company to make some changes to how the show is usually presented, it would be doable.

WrestleMania typically begins airing at 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. ET, but that time would likely be moved up into the afternoon in order to accommodate the show starting at a normal time in the United Kingdom.

Over the past couple of years, WWE has ventured outside the U.S. for more premium live events than ever before, giving it plenty of preparation in terms of airing the shows at abnormal times in the United States.

Aside from the annual shows in Saudi Arabia, WWE held Clash at the Castle in Wales in 2022, Money in the Bank in London last year and Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, this year.

WWE's international reach will expand even more as 2024 progresses with Backlash in France next month, Clash at the Castle in Scotland in June and Bash in Berlin in Berlin, Germany, in August.

The next logical step for WWE is for WrestleMania to emanate from outside North America, and if it happens, London seems like the most likely landing spot.
