Zach Wilson Trolled by NFL Fans After Rumored Jets-Broncos Trade Ahead of 2024 Draft
The New York Jets found a trade partner for quarterback Zach Wilson almost two months after giving the signal-caller permission to speak with other teams.
The Denver Broncos acquired Wilson Monday in exchange for a late-round pick swap, the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported.
Jets who watched Wilson fill in for injured starter Aaron Rodgers last season celebrated the trade.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 2023 campaign ended with Wilson being benched by the Jets for the second straight year.
The No. 2 pick of the 2021 draft finished his New York career with a 12-21 record while having passed for 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns and 25 interceptions over 34 appearances.
Broncos fans meanwhile expressed concern that the deal will lead Denver to repeat the team's same signal-calling struggles from last season.
The Broncos have been searching for a new starting quarterback after taking on the biggest dead cap hit in NFL history in order to move on from Russell Wilson.
The Broncos likely aren't done adding to their quarterback room this season.
Current projected No. 1 Jarrett Stidham has four NFL starts under his belt, so Denver could select a signal-caller with the No. 12 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft on April 25 in order to add depth behind him.
