Three months out from their highly anticipated encounter, Jake Paul praised the continued contributions of heavyweight legend Mike Tyson toward boxing.

Tyson shared a video of himself meeting Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney in their dressing rooms prior to Garcia's stunning upset Saturday. That elicited a response from Paul in the comments.

"Love this Mike thank you for all you do for boxing and supporting the next generation," the YouTube star said.

In retirement, Tyson has steadily gained elder statesman status within boxing. Despite having not fought professionally since 2005, he remains one of the sport's most recognizable names and doesn't hesitate to offer broad guidance or direct coaching.

Garcia did a pretty good impression of Iron Mike on Saturday night, overwhelming Haney early on and not letting up. The underdog scored three knockdowns and won a majority decision to hand the lightweight champion his first loss.
