Gervonta Davis, Frank Martin Agree to Contract for Lightweight Title Fight on June 15

Gervonta Davis will defend his WBA lightweight boxing title against Frank Martin on June 15 in Las Vegas, per Premier Boxing Champions.

The 29-year-old Davis is 29-0 with 27 knockouts. He last fought on April 22, 2023, when he defeated Ryan Garcia via seventh-round TKO. Davis currently sits eighth on ESPN's pound-for-pound rankings and No. 2 on the lightweight list.

The 29-year-old Martin is 18-0 lifetime with 12 knockouts. He's coming off a unanimous decision victory over Artem Harutyunyan last July. ESPN lists Martin sixth on the lightweight list.

The June 15 card will also feature David Benavidez fighting Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the WBC interim super middleweight title.
