Eagles' A.J. Brown Explains New Tom Brady Profile Picture: 'Favorite Player Ever'

Scott PolacekApr 18, 2024

A.J. Brown is a big Tom Brady fan, and that is why he changed his profile picture on X to one of the legendary quarterback.

To hear him tell it, there's nothing more to it.

Brown took to social media Thursday and explained Brady is his "favorite player ever" and he draws motivation from looking back at what the future Hall of Famer did during his illustrious career:

The wide receiver specifically highlighted the 2015 season when he said Brady was "doubted" before throwing for 4,770 yards and a league-best 36 touchdowns. It was yet another incredible performance from the quarterback who finished his career with seven Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl MVPs, three league MVPs and 15 Pro Bowl selections.

Perhaps Brown is feeling "doubted" as well after the Eagles disappointed by losing five of their final six regular-season games ahead of an NFC Wild Card Game loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady overcame those doubts with another one of his excellent efforts, so Brown could be looking to do the same in 2024.

That would surely be a welcome development for Philadelphia fans.
