Los Angeles Rams standout wide receiver Puka Nacua discussed his offseason following a tremendous inaugural 2023 season.

After setting NFL rookie records by hauling in 105 receptions for 1,486 yards, Nacua revealed that he's been training with veteran teammate Cooper Kupp.

"His conditioning days were some of the tougher ones," the 22-year-old admitted, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

"That first week I came back, I think threw up every day of the week," Nacua added. "He wasn't a fan of that, because it was on his lawn!"

Kupp is no stranger to breaking records of his own, as his 1,947 yards in 2021 ranks No. 2 on the all-time single-season receiving yards list. Although a hamstring injury limited him to 12 appearances in 2023, he still recorded 737 yards and five touchdowns.

After the Rams' season ended with a close defeat at the hands of the Detroit Lions in the wild card round of the playoffs, Kupp encouraged his younger teammate to start his offseason workouts early.

"Coop was ready to get to it right before the Super Bowl," Nacua said. "He was already starting his integration to get ready to work out. A lot of mobility stuff in [this] first part, and then just continuing to stay explosive. A lot of top-end speed that we are working on."

As he enters his second year, Nacua revealed that he's changing his diet during the season and cutting back on some fast food.

"I think Coop would definitely not advise me to eat McDonald's as much as I did during the season, he wasn't a fan of that," he joked.

After demolishing expectations as a fifth-round rookie in 2023, Nacua will look to improve even more in his second year and help the Rams secure the first playoff victory since their Super Bowl-winning run during the 2021 season.
