The audio of a diss track titled "Drop and Give Me 50," shared Saturday on social media, mentions Lamar alongside other artists including The Weeknd and Rick Ross.
The track also calls out Future and Metro Boomin, who released a new album Friday.
The song samples the 1995 song "Get Money" by Junior M.A.F.I.A., per XXL.
The leak has sparked debate over whether the track was generated by artificial intelligence.
AI-generated Drake songs have gained popularity in the past, such as the 2023 AI track "Heart on my Sleeve," which also featured a portrayal of The Weeknd. The song was eventually removed from streaming services and banned from Grammy eligibility.
James seems to be a fan of the new track either way, even if he may have to wait for confirmation of its legitimacy.
