During Thursday's UFC 300 press conference, UFC BMF champion Justin Gaethje and his opponent Max Holloway implored UFC president Dana White to raise the $50,000 performance bonuses to $300,000 on Saturday night, and the boss obliged:

That announcement didn't go unnoticed by Conor McGregor:
Gaethje's title defense against Holloway is one of three title fights on Saturday's star-studded card. UFC strawweight champion Zhang Weili will take on Yan Xionan in the co-main event, and the night is headlined by light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira taking on former champion Jamahal Hill.
In addition to those exciting fights, there's a slew of other fighters who will be vying for the boosted performance bonuses on Saturday. Former champions like Charles Oliveira, Jiří Procházka, Aljamain Sterling, Holly Holm and Cody Garbrandt are also on the card.
After Thursday's announcement, fans can expect fireworks from the fighters who will be extra motivated to secure the $300,000 bonuses.
