NFL Draft 2024 Rumors: Xavier Worthy Visits Bills; Colts to Meet With Texas WR
Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy completed a visit with the Buffalo Bills and has another upcoming visit with the Indianapolis Colts ahead of the 2024 draft, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Worthy wrapped up a commendable senior season with the Longhorns in 2023, showcasing his blazing speed as well as his ability to haul in deep passes. His draft stock soared following the scouting combine at Indianapolis, as the 20-year-old broke a combine record by recording a 40-yard dash time of 4.21 seconds.

Worthy's combine performance turned heads, as he's already met with the Arizona Cardinals as well as the Chicago Bears (h/t NFL Network's Ian Rapoport).
In 14 appearances for the Longhorns during the 2023 season, he hauled in 75 receptions for 1,014 yards to go along with five touchdowns. He's been a reliable red zone option throughout his collegiate career, racking up 26 touchdown catches in three years at Texas.
The Bills' interest in Worthy makes sense, as they lost their top two receivers during the 2024 offseason. Four-time Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans, while No. 2 receiver Gabriel Davis signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency.
Buffalo owns the No. 28 overall pick in the draft and could select Worthy if he's still on the board. In the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, the speedy receiver fell to the second round before he was taken by the Colts with the No. 46 pick.
Indianapolis also holds the No. 15 selection in the draft, though it's not clear if they'd consider Worthy with that pick Still, he'd be an intriguing weapon to pair alongside quarterback Anthony Richardson after he showed promise in his brief rookie season.
There appears to be no shortage of interest in Worthy throughout the pre-draft process.
