A trio of top quarterback prospects are scheduled to attend the 2024 NFL draft in Detroit on April 25.

USC's Caleb Williams, LSU's Jayden Daniels and North Carolina's Drake Maye have all accepted invitations to the event.

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Notre Dame tackle Joe Alt and Georgia tight end Brock Bowers declined invitations. Florio added that Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy did not respond to his invitation.

Williams, Maye and Daniels are widely considered to be the top three prospects at their position in the 2024 class. They'll be joined by several other elite prospects, such as former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. as well as former LSU wideout Malik Nabers.

Williams is coming off an impressive 2023 campaign after winning the Heisman Trophy in 2022, passing for 3,633 yards in 12 starts. Although the Trojans finished with a disappointing 8-5 record relative to expectations, the 22-year-old won't have to wait too long before his name is called on April 25.

In the most recent mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, Williams was selected by the Washington Commanders with the No. 2 pick.

Meanwhile, Daniels' 2023 heroics were enough to earn a Heisman Trophy of his own. The dual-threat passer gashed opposing defenses on the ground throughout the year, racking up 1,134 rushing yards on 135 attempts while scoring 10 touchdowns. Daniels also recorded 40 touchdown passes compared to four interceptions, completing 72.2 percent of his throws.

In B/R's latest mock draft, the 23-year-old was taken by the New England Patriots with the No. 3 selection.

Although Maye's 2023 production wasn't as eye-popping as Daniels', the Tar Heels passer built upon his promising 2022 season. Maye completed 63.3 percent of his passes for 3,608 yards, racking up 24 touchdown passes against nine interceptions.

While Williams has been regarded as the top pick in the draft by many, Maye was the one selected by the Chicago Bears with the No. 1 overall choice in B/R's mock.

All three of the presumptive top picks in the 2024 class will be walking the stage and shaking hands with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Day 1 of the draft.
