Clark finished her career as the all-time leading scorer in college basketball history, men or women, with 3,951 points. Her 1,144 assists is second in women's college basketball history. She was a two-time AP Player of the Year award winner, two-time Naismith Award winner and one-time Wooden Award winner.

And no, she didn't get the natty she craved, but she did lead the Hawkeyes to the National Championship Game twice. Iowa was overmatched by better overall teams in each game, first LSU and this year undefeated South Carolina, but Clark scored a combined 60 points in the two losses.

She will go down as one of the most legendary players in the history of college basketball, and took the growing sport of women's basketball to new levels, culminating in 18.87 million people tuning in for the championship game, about four million more viewers than UConn's victory over Purdue in the men's title game.
