Video: Justin Jefferson Praises Odell Beckham Jr., Randy Moss for Early Career Advice
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson credited Odell Beckham Jr., Randy Moss and several other legends for helping give him advice early in his career.
"I had a big list of people. One was Odell. That was one of the biggest ones," Jefferson told Kevin Hart on Cold as Balls (9:20 mark). Randy Moss, of course, is definitely up top for me. ... Jerry Rice. Cris Carter. Davante Adams. All of these different guys that I got to meet when I got in the league.
Odell, it was more like family with him. Him playing with my brothers. Me being so close at LSU with him. We still have that same brotherhood where I can call and ask him about everything."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Jefferson has had one of the greatest starts to a career for a wide receiver in NFL history. His 5,899 receiving yards are the most ever for a player through four seasons, and his 392 catches rank third on that list.
If Jefferson would not have missed seven games in 2023 due to injury, odds are his numbers would have been strong enough to give him the unquestioned best start in league history.
The list of greats Jefferson mentioned giving him advice is a Hall of Fame crew of all-timers. Beckham's career started out arguably hotter than Jefferson's before injuries derailed his path, while Moss posted an NFL record 53 touchdown receptions over his first four seasons.
