Knicks' Jalen Brunson Scores 43 in Win vs. Giannis, Bucks; Gets Love from NBA Fans
Jalen Brunson was feeling it Sunday night.
The New York Knicks star had 43 points in a 122-109 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, notching his 32nd 30-point game and his ninth 40-point game of the season.
Behind Brunson's hot hand, the Knicks erased an 11-point halftime deficit to come back and pick up a big win over a Finals contender.
After the game, fans hyped Brunson for another huge game in his MVP-caliber season.
Brunson is having the best season of his career by far and proving himself as a star in the league. He's averaging a career-high 28 points and 6.7 assists per game, leading New York with Julius Randle out for the season. Sunday's game marked his third straight game with 30+ points and he's reached that number in four of the last five games, including a 61-point game during the stretch.
With the win, the Knicks improved to 46-32 on the year and currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. New York is just a game back from the Bucks, who hold the No. 2 seed, and the Knicks are looking for a late surge to improve their seeding before the playoffs.
