WrestleMania 40 Night 1 had its ups and downs like most pay-per-views, but a few key moments stand out for the right and wrong reasons.

Here is a quick rundown of all the results from Saturday:

• A-Town Down Under won the SmackDown tag titles and Awesome Truth won the Raw tag titles
• Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeated Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio
• Jey Uso defeated Jimmy Uso
• Bianca Belair, Naomi and Jade Cargill defeated Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai
• Sami Zayn defeated Gunther
• The Rock and Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes

Let's look at the best and worst booking decisions from Night 1 of WrestleMania 40.

Best and Worst: Tag Title Match

The Six-Pack Ladder match for the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships was an interesting bout because it had two sets of winners at two different times.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller won the SmackDown tag titles about halfway through the match, upsetting a lot of fans who were hoping for DIY or New Catch Republic to win their first tag titles on the main roster.

At the end of the bout, R-Truth claimed the Raw Tag Team Championships for himself and The Miz to finally get his WrestleMania moment.

A-Town Down Under winning one set of belts is easier to swallow since the other set was one by the most satisfying choice, but it still stuck out as an odd booking decision compared to some of the other options.

Best: Sami Zayn Defeated Gunther

For over 660 days, Gunther has dominated as the intercontinental champion and defeated just about every opponent who has tried to step up to him. Some more than once.

However, The Ring General grew too confident and made one too many mistakes that led to The Underdog From the Underground scoring the win and dethroning him as champion.

WWE really played up the backstage moments leading up to the match with Zayn hugging his wife, son, Chad Gable and Kevin Owens before heading to the ring.

Allowing this match to end clean without interference from Giovanni Vinci or Ludwig Kaiser was the right call. Sometimes simple is best, and when booking a title change, a good clean babyface victory can be exactly what is called for.

It will be interesting to see if Gunther tried to get the title back or if WWE moves Zayn right into another feud.

Worst: Jey and Jimmy Uso Weren't Very Ucey

WrestleMania has hosted two brother vs. brother feuds before this weekend. Bret and Owen Hart fought at WrestleMania 10, and Jeff and Matt Hardy battled at WrestleMania 25.

Saturday night, Jimmy and Jey became the first twins to ever fight at WrestleMania, and it did not live up to the hype at all.

The match was slow, relied too much on superkicks, and ended with the wrong Uso getting the victory.

Jey has been pushed far more as a singles star, so Jimmy would have gained a lot more from the win and given The Bloodline even more momentum heading into Sunday.

The emotional story beats were decent, but everything else about this failed to live up to the legacy The Usos have developed as great performers.

Best: Rhea Ripley Defeated Becky Lynch

Last year, Ripley was the challenger heading into WrestleMania. Defeating Charlotte Flair for the women's world title helped put her on the top of the mountain, but beating Lynch on Saturday is the moment she planted her flag at the peak.

The Man and The Eradicator put on a top-notch encounter that made both women look like two of the absolute best at what they do. It was the perfect choice to open the show because it got the crowd on its feet and in the right mood.

Having Ripley win at two 'Manias in a row gives her even more credibility than just holding the Women's World Championship.
