Luka Dončić Probable for Mavericks vs. Clippers Game 5 Amid Sprained Knee Injury

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić is probable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Los Angeles Clippers as he deals with a knee sprain, according to head coach Jason Kidd.

Dončić is averaging a career-high 33.9 points per game this season, adding 9.8 assists and 9.2 rebounds on his way to his fifth straight All-Star nomination alongside eight-time All-Star Kyrie Irving.

The Mavericks may have gone 5-11 with both stars on the court the season prior, but the two started to click in 2023-24.

The blossoming connection between Dončić and Irving has helped the Mavericks become one of the highest-scoring teams in the NBA this season.
