Video: Texans' Stefon Diggs Says He's 'Excited to Get to Work' After Trade from Bills

One day after being sent from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans, star wide receiver Stefon Diggs took to social media to introduce himself to his new fanbase.

Diggs arrived at the Texans facility on Thursday and the team posted a video of him telling fans he's "excited to get going, excited to get to work":

The Texans sent a 2025 second-round pick (via the Minnesota Vikings) to the Bills in exchange for Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick (No. 189 overall) and a 2025 fifth-round selection. The trade came a day after Diggs responded "You sure?" to a tweet that suggested he wasn't essential to the success of Bills star quarterback Josh Allen.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Thursday that the Texans wiped out the last three years of Diggs' contract as part of the trade, clearing the path for him to become a free agent after the 2024 season. The four-time Pro Bowler will make a guaranteed $22.52 million this year.

The acquisition of Diggs further cemented the Texans as a top contender in the AFC. NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud is expected to thrive with Diggs and star running back Joe Mixon, who was acquired from the Cincinnati Bengals, added to Houston's already potent offense.
