Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
"Michael Vick has been one of the main ones and somebody [who] was my favorite quarterback, one of the reasons I wear No. 7," he said beginning at the 7:15 mark. "Cam Newton has reached out, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes. Justin Fields, who I played with at Ohio State, has helped me out a ton. Even like the OGs, Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham, who I've gotten to meet."
Stroud added it's "an honor, it's a blessing to learn from people who you were inspired by." He said his dad had shown him highlights of Moon and Cunningham when he was younger, making it even more special once they connected directly with him.
The advice the 2023 first-round pick received certainly seems to have helped. He threw for 4,108 yards and 23 touchdowns as a rookie, and his 273.9 passing yards per game were the highest in the league.
If he isn't already, then it won't be long before the 22-year-old is the one offering his wisdom to young signal-callers coming into the NFL.
