NBA Fans Celebrate Heat as 60-Point Blowout Win vs. Blazers Breaks Franchise Record
The Miami Heat had no issues against the Portland Trailblazers on Friday night.
The Heat picked up a monstrous blowout win over the Trailblazer 142-82, marking the biggest win margin in franchise history. The 60-point win was good for the second-largest win margin in the NBA this season, only behind the Oklahoma City Thunder's 62-point win, which was also over the Trailblazers.
Six Heat players were in double figures on Friday, with four of those players scoring 20+. Thomas Bryant led the way off the bench with 26 points, Terry Rozier had 22, Bam Adebayo had 21 and Haywood Highsmith had 20.
After the historical blowout, fans praised Miami for its efforts against Portland.
With the win, Miami improved to 40-33 on the season and currently sit in seventh place in the Western Conference. Perhaps the dominant win will give the Heat some momentum to make a big run to end the season and avoid the Play-In tournament.
