NFL 2024 Offseason Workout Schedules Announced for All 32 Teams amid Free Agency

The 2024 NFL offseason calendar continues to get filled out, with Friday's release of the workout schedule for all 32 teams.

Seven teams that hired new head coaches will get an early start, beginning with the Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders on Tuesday, April 2.

The New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans will open their workout schedule on April 8, with the other 25 clubs getting started on April 15.

Per NFL.com, the offseason program is a collectively-bargained nine-week voluntary event that occurs in three phases.

Phase one consists of activities limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation. It takes place over two weeks.

Phase two consists of three weeks and includes on-field workouts like individual or group instruction/drills, perfect play drills and drills/plays in which offensive players line up across from other offensive players and defensive players line up against defensive players in a walk-through-style pace.

The final phase of the offseason program takes up the final four weeks, with teams permitted to conduct between seven to 10 days of organized team activities. 7-on-7, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills are permitted, but live contact is prohibited.

Most teams will begin the OTA portion of their offseason program on May 20 or 21, followed by mandatory minicamps in early to mid June.

The seven teams that hired new head coaches also have voluntary three-day minicamps scheduled in late April. The Chargers, Seahawks, Falcons, Titans and Commanders have it scheduled to run from April 22 to 24.

Carolina's will run from April 23-25. New England is only holding a two-day voluntary minicamp from April 23-24.

After the offseason program wraps up, the next major event on the calendar will be the start of training camps in July.

The full preseason schedule has not yet been announced, but it will kick off on Aug. 1 with the Hall of Fame Game between the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears.
