Under Armour All-America Game 2012: 3 Reasons Football Fans Must Tune In

Andrew KulhaJun 5, 2018

If you need three reasons to tune into the 2012 Under Armour All-America Game, look no further than Keith Marshall, Jameis Winston and Mario Edwards.

You needed reasons, so I'll give you names.

What better reason to watch this game than to see the nation's top recruits in action? And these three players are going to be studs at the next level.

They will be featured at the All-America game. Need any more convincing to believe they're worth it?

Just in case you do, let me break down these three studs a little bit more for you.

Keith Marshall, RB

Marshall is the nation's No. 1 running back, according to scout.com, and is a 5-star recruit that has committed to running for the Georgia Bulldogs.

The first thing you'll notice when watching tape on Marshall is the speed that he hits the hole with. Many running backs struggle to get to the line of scrimmage, but Marshall is there with lighting-quick speed.

He then possesses the agility and field vision to make cuts when necessary, and once he's in the open field it's game over for the defense.

Like any great back, he has the ability to make his reads at the line and then switch it into second gear at the second level.

He's a thrill to watch, and he's definitely a reason to tune in.

Jameis Winston, QB

Winston is the No. 2 quarterback in the nation, according to scout.com, and he's somewhat wavering on his verbal commitment to Florida State. According to Scout, he's reportedly interested in Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, LSU and Ohio State, among other very notable programs, so there is a huge reason to tune in.

This elite prospect may end up at your school.

Decisions aside, the kid is a stud. He's got a strong arm and good accuracy. He may be the most dangerous with hit feet, though, and if you know anything about football, you'd know that a running quarterback is becoming a must-have.

Mario Edwards, DE

Mario Edwards is scary-good, and this year you'll be able to watch him dominate left tackles and quarterbacks at the college football level.

Where he will be doing that is still in question, but you'll be able to check him out at the All-America game.

He's the No. 2 defensive end in his class, according to scout.com. He's huge, at 6'4", 280 pounds, and backs that up with supreme athleticism and moves that would make a veteran lineman scared.

This guy's going to be very good, and you'll have your chance to check him out before he becomes a big name.
