Former NFL QB Vince Young Appears to Be Knocked Out in Bar Fight Caught on Video

Former NFL quarterback Vince Young appeared to be knocked unconscious in a bar fight that took place in Texas last month.

Per TMZ Sports, the altercation occurred at Tokyo Joe's Shot Bar in Houston on Feb. 4.

In the footage obtained by TMZ, Young and another man appear to be in an argument with other people in the bar when the situation got physical.

"The footage shows one man appearing to slam his drink in another man's face," TMZ wrote.
"Seconds later, the same man can be seen throwing an elbow that connects flush."

When it looked like the altercation was calming down, Young appeared to get hit with a punch that knocked him to the ground.

The Houston Police Department was called to the scene by the bar owner, who told the cops he was hit by a drink and an elbow. TMZ noted officers said the owner told them the situation began over a "conversation about race—and turned physical once he asked the patrons to leave."

No arrests were made, nor did the bar owner press charges. Young has not commented on the situation.

Young was a superstar quarterback during his two seasons as a starter at the University of Texas. He led the Longhorns to a national title in 2005 when he threw for 267 yards, ran for 200 yards and scored three rushing touchdowns in a 41-38 win over USC in the BCS Championship Game.

The Tennessee Titans selected Young with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 draft. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Year in his first season and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in six NFL seasons.
