The Chiefs are finalizing a deal to send Sneed to the Titans in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and 2024 seventh-round pick swap, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
According to Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz, the Titans are offering Sneed a four-year extension worth an average of $19 million per year with $55 million guaranteed.
Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu was impressed by the reported contract.
Cornerback Amik Robertson, who was signed this offseason by the Detroit Lions after four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, also reacted to Sneed's deal.
After entering the league as a 2020 fourth-round pick, Sneed won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs. His 6.5 career sacks rank as the second-most among defensive backs in Chiefs franchise history.
The Chiefs placed a non-exclusive franchise tag on Sneed earlier this month after granting him permission to seek a trade.
All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie is set for a larger workload in Sneed's absence as the Chiefs work to rebuild their defense without their star cornerback.
