Jon Rahm Unveils 2024 Masters Champions Dinner Menu Ahead of Season's 1st Major

Defending Masters champion Jon Rahm submitted his menu this week for the upcoming Masters Champions Dinner.

Golf Digest posted a rundown of what will be offered at the dinner on April 9, and it unsurprisingly features several Spanish dishes since Rahm is originally from Spain:

To start the meal, the fellow Masters champions will get to choose from an array of tapas y pinxtos, which are essentially small-portioned appetizers. Included among them is "Mama Rahm's classic lentil stew."

The first course is a crab salad with potato, followed by the main course, which is a choice of a ribeye with Tudela lettuce and piquillo peppers or turbot, which is a type of fish, with white asparagus.

Rahm's spread will be finished off by milhojas de crema y nata, which is a puff pastry cake with custard and Chantilly cream for dessert.

The Masters dinner has been a tradition since 1952 with the previous year's winner serving as the host.

It is typical for the host to craft a menu that features dishes associated with where they are from, whether it is a certain part of the United States or other countries across the world.

Rahm won the second major title of his career at the Masters last year and took the green jacket for the first time, cementing his status as one of the top players in the world.

The 29-year-old star has since left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, but he has an exemption to continue playing in the Masters thanks to last year's title.

Rahm's Masters Champions Dinner will take place two days before the start of the 2024 Masters, which runs from April 11 through April 14 at Augusta National Golf Course in Augusta, Georgia.
