NFL Draft 2024 Rumors: Nabers Ranked as WR1 Over Marvin Harrison Jr. by Several Teams
It sounds like there is some dissension over who is the top wide receiver in the 2024 draft class.
While Ohio State star Marvin Harrison Jr. has long been pegged as the best player at the position, The Athletic's Dane Brugler backed up a post from NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, saying LSU's Malik Nabers is being viewed by "several teams" as the No. 1 receiver in the draft:

ESPN's Field Yates chimed in and added that Nabers vs. Harrison "is a real debate for a lot of teams" and the LSU star being the first receiver off the board "should not be dismissed."
B/R's NFL Scouting Department predicted in its most recent mock draft that Harrison would be selected with the No. 4 pick by the Arizona Cardinals while Nabers would go at No. 7 to the Tennessee Titans. However, Harrison holds the top overall spot among all prospects in B/R's latest big board, and Nabers is ranked as the No. 2 receiver in the class.
The son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, the former Buckeye was a unanimous All-American in the last two seasons and won the 2023 Fred Biletnikoff Award after recording 67 catches for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns.
While Nabers doesn't have a famous lineage, he had a stellar career with the Tigers and his 3,003 career yards rank first in program history. He was also named a unanimous All-American in 2023 after finishing with 89 receptions for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Regardless of which receiver is selected first, it's clear that both Harrison and Nabers are destined for stardom in the NFL. Both of them have the skills to be No. 1 wideouts at the professional level, so any team would be excited to add either one of them to its offense.
