Iowa's Caitlin Clark, South Carolina's Kamilla Cardoso and UCLA's Kiki Rice will be profiled in an upcoming documentary, Full Court Press, from ESPN.

A trailer posted Monday provided viewers with a taste of what's to come.

"From Iowa's historic preseason game that broke attendance records all the way through the WNBA draft in April, the series uses unparalleled access, exclusive interviews, and unique game footage, to transport audiences into the lives of these exceptional athletes," ESPN said in the announcement.

"Full Court Press follows them as they steer their celebrated programs towards a national championship, all while navigating the pressures that come with representing the game during a pivotal era in women's basketball."

The documentary won't be lacking in compelling stories and moments to keep viewers absorbed.

Clark is the reigning national player of the year and became the all-time leading scorer in Division I history this season. The senior guard also reflects the growth of women's basketball writ large in that her career has probably been chronicled and scrutinized more than any player from the modern era.

Being a star player carries enough pressure and expectations. In Clark's case, she has the added weight of being looked upon to lift up the entire sport. A clip from the trailer seems to reference that pressure, with her saying that "having to feel like you're always on" is the most difficult part of her life right now.

Cardoso, meanwhile, has dealt with the challenge of having to replace Gamecocks legend Aliyah Boston in the frontcourt while cementing her status as a lottery prospect in the 2024 WNBA draft.

The senior center has averaged 14.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.6 blocks with South Carolina running the table (32-0) entering the NCAA tournament. She helped to preserve that perfect record when she hit a buzzer-beater against Tennessee in the semifinals of the SEC tournament, the first made three-pointer of her career.

There's a chance Clark and Rice could cross paths in the NCAA tournament with Iowa and UCLA claiming the top two seeds in the Albany 2 region.

The Bruins go into March Madness with a 25-6 record and a No. 6 position in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll. Head coach Cori Close is looking to guide the program to its first-ever Final Four.

Rice is the team leader in assists (4.6) and third in both points (12.6) and rebounds (5.8). Only a sophomore, Full Court Press will help to fuel the narrative for the remainder of her time in Southern California.
