Scottie Scheffler's Career Earnings After Win at 2024 Players Championship
As he was on the driving range preparing for a potential playoff, No. 1 ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler got the news he was looking for.
A Wyndham Clark birdie bid that would have sent the tournament to a playoff lipped out at the last second, and Scheffler had officially won the 2024 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

He becomes the first player in tournament history to repeat as champion and is the sixth person to win the event multiple times.
In addition to the prestige of winning the tournament, Scheffler also secured the generous cash prize. Scheffler received $4.5 million for winning the 2024 championship.
This brings his career earnings total up to $78.4 million, with $53.5 million coming from official tournaments, per Spotrac.
That new earning number moves him up to the ninth-highest of all-time. He moves ahead of Jim Furyk and is now behind Jordan Spieth for eighth, per Spotrac.
Sheffler entered the weekend in contention but was not poised to claim victory. He was at eight-under through the second round, and improved to 12-under with a 68 on Saturday. However, an incredible 64 performance on Sunday is what catapulted him to first with a final score of under-20.
This was his second win of 2024, with his other win coming at the Arnold Palmer Invitation last week. His earnings on the year have officially exceeded $10 million, and he still has plenty of chances to add more.
